How do I rent gear?
Below you will find a step by step guide in creating a MyTurn account and navigating the website to rent gear from our library. A video guide is also available.
What is the gear library?
A free service for Queen’s University students of staff to borrow a wide variety of gear to use for fieldwork, coursework, or recreational adventures
When can I pick up my gear?
The library is open on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Gear can be rented during any part of the year (fall, winter, spring, summer).
Where can I pick up my gear?
The QOFEI lending library is located on the second floor of the BioSciences Complex in room 2112A. This is found inside the study lounge (room 2112) on the second floor. The BioSciences Complex is found on Queen's main campus at 116 Barrie St. Below, we've included some images and text-based directions to help with how to get to our lending library from the BioSciences Complex's Arch street entrance.
Written directions
Enter Biosciences Complex through the Arch Street doors. Once inside, turn left and walk up the main staircase to the second floor. Once on the second floor, enter the study room on your left labeled "Room 2112". Once inside room 2112, turn to your right, and you will have arrived at the QOFEI office!
